JULIE'S STORY
A NUTRITIONIST WHO HAS BEEN THERE
In 2006 I was busy building my nutrition practice while working another full-time consulting job and training for a marathon. I was humming right along in life …… until I wasn’t. My health quickly took a turn for the worse. I began to suffer from Vertigo, I was having extreme heart palpitations, and had debilitating fatigue and brain fog. I could barely get through a day. How could this happen? I was eating “healthy” and exercising!
After ending up in the ER, I embarked on a month long doctor- to –doctor journey to find out what was wrong with me. This only led to frustration because every doctor said I was “fine”. My bloodwork came back “normal”.
Knowing I was NOT fine, I turned to my own vast knowledge of nutrition, food, and lifestyle. I changed habits and foods I was eating. Within 3 months all of my symptoms went away. I was back to my energetic and happy self.
This was an "a-ha" moment for me. I believed in what I was doing for others before my health issues. However, experiencing it first-hand and feeling the amazing change back to health convicted these beliefs. The power of PROPER NUTRITION is undeniable.
